Raspberry Chipotle Barbeque Sauce

Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ sweet onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloved garlic, minced

- 2 tsp chipotle chiles (canned in adobo), chopped
- ¼ c balsamic vinegar
- ½ c Greaves Raspberry Jam
- salt, to taste

Directions:
- Heat heavy saucepan over medium high heat. Add butter ans sweet onions. Reduce heat to medium and saute onions until soft and translucent.
- Add garlic and chipotle chiles. Continue to saute 2 more minutes.
- Add balsamic vinegar, deglaze pan scraping up any browned bits from bottom of pan.
- Add raspberry jam and salt. Stir until smooth.
- Use as finishing sauce on partially cooked meat or poulty. Great on chicken,chicken wings, pork or ribs.
- Unused can be stored in fridge for up to 1 week.
